    Hey guys

My tank is getting warm with the MHs on.
I have some fans blowing onto the sump but would it be better to put them directly above the tank surface?

My tank is rimless so it will spoil the look.

A chiller at this time is out of the question.

    Oh the room is airconditioned.

    Ta,

    Ross

Hi Ross - I have a small'ish industrial type fan blowing over the top of my tank. This does indeed works well..... It "compliments" my chiller, which is too "small" for my tank in any case.

maybe you can try to put your ro water in ice cube trays in the fridge, when frozen just add to your sump, it works for me

frozen RO water level increases, hmmm, never given that a thought until now.

Do you have an ATS Ross? It will help a little if you have a fan cooling the water on an ATS because of the surface of moving water.

This is going to sound totally crazy but easy mistakes are made, have you looked at turning your heaters either down or even off to reduce the temp?
