Why crushed coral if I may ask?will trap detritus and push up nutrients.matrix stones are a better option.

A lot has happened in the last few weeks. I've added quite a few corals and a few fish.

Firstly to get the schooling effect I've added 6 baby blue/green chromis. I've also added one hermit crab

I added a bubble tip anemone also which I picked up at a bargain price along with a range of other soft corals.

All levels seem to be stable and going well. I'm currently going through the new tank diatom stage as well which is really annoying with all the glass cleaning needed.

My plan this week is to build a diy cover for the tank so that I can move to fish that jump.

Here's pics of the progress so far :

Nice progress, good luck with the Chromis, I gave up on them years ago, lol.

Chromis are nice to look at, but in most tanks I've seen they kill each other off until there is one left in the end, maybe you are lucky with your school.

So here's an update. I'm sill waiting for my additional fish that are in order ‍♂️ what I've been doing is adding some more coral, mostly Zoas, GSP, etc but recently I added a lovely rock with ricordias. I'm still looking for more decently sized softies to help fill the tank though

So mixing clowns is okay? They don't mind? I've got one b/w percula clown - was trying to find another, what a mission and if I don't have to I'll be stoked.

My uncle has a pair of the black and white and orange perculiar clowns together no problem. They've paired up quite nicely. So mixing them like that should be good. So long as they the same species of clowns.

Thanks man. So far he hasn't moved (touch wood). He's been happy there and gets quite a lot of flow. I feed him twice a week and he's doing fantastic so I'm trying to keep conditions exactly the same to keep him from
    Moving

Update: I've added some more coral. Started with my first pieces of LPS including a hammer coral and a candy cane. I also added two small Bangai cardinals and a porcelain anemone crab.

With a bit of luck the Lamarck might turn into a male. Males are much nicer than the females, but that might take some time. Mine changed now after about 2.5 years
