Finally the new tank has arrived And it is looking amazing.

    It's a PowerLabs tank. The m120

    1,2 x 0,45 x 0,45

It came with all equipment, sand, water, wavemaker, etc etc

I'm looking to create a mixed reef. I shut down my other two tanks and decided it's time for an upgrade. I have big plans for this baby.

Here's some pics of how far I got today. Waiting for the silicone to dry at the return and I'll finish filling it tomorrow and add the salt to the RO already in the tank.

That is a super neat looking tank. Some specs on skimmer/lights/wavemakers? And a sump shot?

I saw that tank at the shop, so you're the lucky owner. The darker cabinet looks amazing.

Does this tank come with a sump? I can't see the overflow?

Here are the sump pics. Skimmer (Powerlabs designed skimmer), return pump, filter bag (with filter bracket), another bracket for carbon, heater (which I'll move to the sump once I finish sorting everything out.

I plan on adding a light system to the sump, ATO and a region for macro algae and possibly frags. I already ordered the ATO and I just have to install the lighting into the sump area

It's a slow overflow/return running with a 800 loser/h return. The overflow is well hidden behind the lighting system

With regards to the lights, it's the standard blue/white Powerlabs custom LED's
The wavemaker is a sun sun JVP-102

LR has been added today. This is not my scape plan. It's just to get the system going. I have some more rock still curing in a bucket and hopefully in a few weeks I'll be able to add it and finalize my scape. Other than that, all seems to be on track

I plan on leaving the left as is. On the right I just want to mix and match and see where best rocks fit in order to make a place for the fish to hide as well. It won't be much higher than it is right now but better structured. I want the figure 8 shape for the whole tank. So basically two islands of rock. If I have time I'll do it this weekend, otherwise next weekend definitely

I'm sure as you guys know that things rarely go as planned. I had the extra rock and this is the scape I came up with. Let me know what you guys think. I think it turned out pretty well

Looking very nice! The water level on these taks would totally freak me out! Really pushing it to the limit. Looks great though.

Thanks. There's a lip on the front and the back of the tank to help with that. It works quite nicely and no chance of spilling unless you actively pour too much water in

Hey guys. A little update. I've tested all my levels and everything was good so I added this little lineatus blenny. I saved him from my old tank. He loves his new home so far ... I've also added a bag of crushed Coral to the sump as well as I'm in the process of adding a DIY ATO (made by a fellow reefer). All I need is to sort a reservoir out and place it behind the tank. A friends been keeping my coral from my old tank so I'll start by adding a few softies next weekend and also possibly 4 blue/green chromis.

Cool! Just make sure those crushed coral in sump doesn't start accumulating detritus, else it will become a headache to control nutrient levels.
