My emperor is becoming a real beauty. I'd like to move it into my big tank, but I need to lighten the bio-load there before I can do that. It doesn't seem to be stressed by the confines of the smaller tank yet, so all's well.
Hi Mudshark, I stumbled onto your thread yesterday and loved your pics. I have a macro lense (no ringflash yet through ) but have been frustrated with the quality till I read your thread and realised its my white balance!!!! So thank you!!!! Out of interest what do you have your WB set at? And what ISO's do you use as I hate bumping up my ISO's too much. Keep up the excellent pics

Thanks hermie and Ziyaadb. Hermie, my WB is usually on auto. I adjust in PS if need be. By the way, I only use a macro lens for the coral pics, and that's without any flash. I keep the ISO near 100 which obviously results in long shutterspeeds, aspecially as I use small apertures for max depth of field. This means that you have to switch off pumps to still all motion.(And try to convince the fish to play along)
