Has anyone ever exposed Pulsing Xenia to air for a few minutes? I need to move my nano tank into a different room so have to remove about 50 litres of water so that it can be carried. But the problem I have is my Xenia has grown onto the back glass and spread right up to the water surface, see pic. A lot of Xenia is going to be exposed to the air for about 30 minutes and I'm worried if I need to be prepared for a lot of die off? Thanks.

I don't think it's possible to kill Xenia. A day or two in the air will probably encourage growth.
When are you moving them? I can expose some of mine to air for 30 minutes and let you know how they cope.

Thanks everyone, I'm fairly confident they'll be ok as well as it's just the same as taking a coral out to frag it basically. I was just concerned about the extended time out of the water, don't want to risk having mass die-off in a little nano.

Possibly this weekend if all goes well.
