    Hey,

What would it cost to get a 120x50x50cm tank make with an external overflow with two 32mm drain hole drilled. 6mm glass euro braced?

reason im asking is there is one for sale in PE but want to get the rough cost of one before buying it.

6mm is a bit on the thin side! I would rather go for 8mm minimum.

    I personally wouldn't by it.

I'm in JHB and in the same boat.
Having a hard time getting quotes.

    I need a 1500(l)x70(h)x50(w).

    any recommendations in JHB area?

I would have loved to but unfortunately 70 is to wide for the area I'm placing the tank. (dining room). So the cupboard has already been custom built to fit a 50cm wide tank.

I'm going for 70 in hight with water level at 65, I would like to go higher but I'm sure I'll be running into PAR problems at lower depths, say 80cm down should I go that big.

But I'll mail Idol marine right away.

    THANKS!

Almost the same as a standard Daro 1.2, but at 45*45

And the Daro is in 6mm.

I used a Daro 1.2, got it drilled and put an overflow into it. Works nice. So yes, a Daro with stand and hood ( but you do not need that) you can pick up for R100 new. Having it drilled and overflow build plus connectors, another 200-300.

    So 500 is a bargain.
