The market is flooded with things claiming to make your water the best on the block. Excluding the obvious electrolytes ( Calcium, magnesium and alkaline) what else do you consider essential additives? And which bacterial additives are best?

    TBH NONE!

Keep the basics in check i.e:
    CA
    ALK
    MG
    Nitrates
    Phosphate
And you will need NOTHING ELSE!
YOu will have an awesome tank with no issues
