Well the real truth is that you won't see much of a difference right now, it takes a while to build a massive monstrosity like a power station.

The steps have been taken to get it going and quite a few are but it takes time.

In the mean time we have to make do with what we have.

I think that's a fair vent. Let me ask you a question what would you do to stop / catch / enforce the electricity hoggers?

Tell SANRAL to turn off the freaking highway lights in the day time, as well as those huge lights over the location, seriously the sun provides enough lights those power hunrgy lights must kill demand.

Eskom in most cases does not "own" that power. They sell power to our wonderful municipalities and then they are responsible for where the power goes. Lights during the day are a huge no no sad to hear its happening all the time!

This past Friday we (4 guys from our company) went to Camden powerstation outside Ermelo to install a small crusher. The meeting was held and the "plan" put into action. We had to be there Saturday morning at 7 to do our part.
At 13:00 we still didn't do a thing and was still waiting for them - all because of Escoms bad planning. No one made a decision for the next step. I told them that they are wasting money and had to pay us for doing nothing. They can call us back when they are ready for us. "e sounds like a good plan" :whistling:
So ja, wasting money through bad planning and wrong decision making by incompetent people....

I am a consultant and have worked for 80% of our largest businesses in this country, that type of bad planing is common across businesses and market sectors. NOT an excuse but it is what it is unfortunately.
