I am looking for some coral (encrusting type) that'll overgrow rocks- NOT Something growing outwards like plating Montis.

Please post pics as well as the real names so I can do some research.

    Thank you.

    P.S.
I am not looking for sponges- unless it is a good sponge type

look at Montipora danae, such as hulk monti, superman moti and sunset monti which are available to us. I only have experience with sunset monti which only colours up nicely with strong blue light and very low N and P.

Yip Monti Danaes are awesome, I have the Green and red polyp'd one and the Superman...although the superman went from Bright Purple with red polyps to Maroon...I believe they are the most difficult corals to colour up.
