But what to get, juvenile or adult, and why? What do you think?

    Juvenile

Then you can appreciate the colour change to adult.

Why you prefer the Queen? Is it just because you like the colors more or does it have something to do with it being more easy to keep? Come on, give me more to work with here;):p

Definitely better looking. Both have the same destructive behaviour so not any difference in husbandry needs.

I just reckonif you going the Angel route get the prettier one - Queen or Arabian :)

Yehh. I must say that i agree with you there Riaan, (puhh been working hard on that pronunciation this week end:whistling::thumbup:) Also by getting the juvenile the odds should be better for keeping it of the corrals right??

    what corals do you have
i think it is better to get the smallest adult colored emperor you can find
there diets in nature is not the same that you can give him
i think thy change better in nature than in a tank

Queen angels eat any coral a totally not reef safe
with a emperor you will get a way with most soft coral an sps corals (never keep a brain coral with any angel)
sum will go for lps but that is more of an hit and mis thing

A juvenile will be much better IMO. Older fish tend to be a lot more finicky when it comes to feeding so you would have to have a lot more patience initially.

The Queen angel is a real gem and I think the best looking fish in the ocean:thumbup:My Queen nailed my SPS but never touched my LPS(Torch, frog spawn etc) but in saying that I could feel sweat dripping from my fore head every time it would stare longer than a few seconds at my LPS. These are two fish I would add to my fish list any day again:p

Knut, Angels are also my favourite fish.

    My angel arrived on Wednesday.

    The Regal angle

Most of the angels are very colourful. I used this spreadsheet as a guideline to determine what angel to buy. It's a survey done on Reef Central to see how compatible angels were with corals.

Just one thing, use it as a guideline but remember each fish behaves different.

PS. I will go for the juvenile
