the reason why i want this is becuas its energy efficiant and you get a better result when burning your metal halide.it cuts your electricity cost when using mh on your system by 30 percent.and no cape town sponsors has it.anybody out thier who can help me find it in south africa seeing cape town has no stock.

    Energy savings
A VS metal halide electronic ballast uses approximately 10% to 17% less energy than a " magnetic" ballast.
    Improved lumen maintenance
Typically, a VS metal halide electronic ballast extends lamp lumen maintenance from 5% to 15% versus a "magnetically" ballasted lamp.

Do the maths, is it really worth the extra cost. If I ran a 250W Mh for 8hrs a day, I would only save about R3 - R5 per month, per lamp, best case you'll say about R15 per month for all 3 lamps (this was worked out on my current electricity costs in Durban) how many months would you have to run it to pay for itself?
