It varies on kilowatts consumed, its on your electricity bill
I think currently the highest rate is R1.2 per Kwh

Highest rate is R1,47 here. Why do we question lights when everything else runs for 24hrs?

Let me see,my lights are a total of 864w which run for 10hrs but start off as 216w for 10hrs then 648w for 6hrs and lastly peaking at 864w for 3hrs. And that being said, taken on max calculation works out to R10,85 for that period or day.

Now when it comes to my pumps, heaters etc it's a total of 760w which runs 24hrs and costs me R26,88.

    So there you go guys.

That's an interesting one I should work out my output over 24hrs.

Heaters don't run for the full 24hrs though.
