Well we all knew this was coming,

I just received my bill this morning,
we are getting ASS F**ked by the government, (sorry in advance for bad language)

My rate per unit in centurion went up from 0.88 to 1.51

How can you justify this, why, who will this benefit?

This will negatively affect all of us irrespective of the industry you are in.

    Food, Petrol, Toll roads.........

Thank you for the opportunity to vent my anger.

I agree, it is absolutely rediculous that we have to pay so much. It is definetly going to impact on the whole cost of living. Seems i will have to start charging my foxface some rent:lol:

AFAIK these rates are from June to August only... Back to 88c in September.

    lol, talk about leftfield?! :p

Quniton, my electricity went up by 30% and then I had another 32% increase on my municiple bills. My travelling expenses are going up by an extra R1200 + once the tolls kick in as well. So in the next couple of months I am going to need to somehow find an extra R1800?! On top of that everything else will go up (food, clothes etc) to make up for the costs distributors, suppliers and vendors will be paying for the tolls, electricity and municiple hikes etc.

Where the goverment thinks the average person on the street is going to find this extra money is beyond me? I definately don't have it and I have a relatively decent job, imagine those that just survive! I forsee a lot of crap happening in the next few months, we don't even know strikes when compared to whats coming! And crazily, this time I actually agree with them, hell I may even join in!
