Hi guys I got a wavemaker in my tank that is leaking electricity not much but enough that you can't stick you're hand in the tank without shoes. Can that current harm my corals in anyway? Coz they don't seem happy. It has been like this for a month now. Advise would be appreciated

@Radies here is my experience on electricity in the water... I had the problem for a long time, I never thought it was such a bad thing as I was always wearing shoes when I went to work on the fish tank so the shock was very minor... I added a aquamedic Calcuim reactor which had a built in circulation pump.. so anyways I was home on a public holiday and decided to feed my fish as I put my had in the water I got zapped properly. arm was tingeling for a while... so in the end I tested all my equipment and found 2 problems 1 was the Calcuim Reactor pump and one was one of the multiplugs I had next to the Aquaruim... after I fixes those problem the electrical leakage was gone... I brought my self a titanium ground probe from idol marine for R172 not bad for something which will save your life.

in livestock Iost 2 dwarf lionfish a sailfin tang and my prized mystery wrasse

I had the same problem a while back. Reactor was also the cause. But don't really use it so just disconnected it. Scary stuff. :m33:
