    Hello,

Has anybody seen cushion star eggs? I had a look this morning and I see some orange eggs on the top corner of my tank, I can only suspect that is the cushion star's, as they they the only one's that can get to the top right in the corner, unless is snail eggs? I have two local round shell snails...?

most likely snail eggs. Cushion stars are broadcast spawners (eggs/sperm released into the water column) so would not form congregated masses on the glass.

Do the starfish always aggregate in that corner?
Looks like it could be starfish eggs. Done a bit of reading quickly and seems some cushion stars are broadcast spawners while others lay eggs. Where did you get the starfish?
Heres a pic of a cushion star with eggs:

Awesome thanks man, looks excatly the same, they are local starfish that I collected from rocks out of water..., they have been away from that corner for a while and have been hiding under some rocks, out of sight out of radar, must've been doing there thing? or does the male come and put his sperm over them now? how does it work?

fertilisation will be external. The males will probably already have released sperm over the eggs, probably why you see them congregating in the corner.
Good luck hatching them. Theres alot of info on the development/reproduction of echinoderms with some very interesting pics.

Nothing special? no man its bloody awesome. Local or not.
I also have some of those cushion stars. Some for 2 years. Never seen eggs. Maybe out of sight. Most likely not. But it would be extremely cool to have it happening in my tank. Like in yours (I'm jealous - obviously)
