Eastern Cape pics ( For Geordie)

Ha Ha I recognized Bedford mountain, and I haven't been there for 8 years.

Some heather: This mountain had a very bad fire last year so there are no trees:

Below the mountain on our way back to the freeway:

A close up: We call these vark ore = pigs ears.

The Gamtoos valley is on the other side of the far hills, this flood plain is fed by the same river that formed the gamtoos:

Thanks sean. I am fortunate enough to have my office in the mountains :) LOL! I am a technician. If you want to punish me keep me in the base for a week :014: yesterday we had a lot of rain so everything just looks so clean today. Our mountain sites are Karreedouw, Zuurberg, Bedford, and Grahamstown. Which is more of a hill.
The gamtoos sites are fantastic, I will get pics with the next trip. Paul Saur dam is a fun 4X4 track with serious gradients and we use a bakkie to climb that.

Heading home along the coast, this is just past UPE after the boat club:

Cheers again mate,

Stunning scenery and some coastline.

Just looking at the Hills/Mountains pictures and it could almost be Scotland.

Thanks for taking the time to post.

Much Appreciated.

I recognize Kareedouw mountain too. Also used to have a office up there before moving to East London.
