Anybody know what's happening to my sea stars. This is the second victim. Only one that seems immune thus far is the brittle star. It looks like some kind of parasite is chowing it. Not sure. Should I be concerned, I have them for about 6 months now.

    Any information will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    List of Tankmates/Inmates

Convict Tang(going by the name, he should be the culprit)lol
    Yellow Tang
    Scopas TangX2
    Niger Trigger
    Blue green chromis
    humbug damsel
    Clarks clown
    Tomato clown
    2 x fire shrimp
    2 x cleaner shrimp
    1 x reef lobster
    1 x boxer shrimp(coral banded)
    1 x brittle star
    1 x white goby
    1 x ugly goby(can't spell name)
    1x Sailfin Tang
    1 x Koran Angel\
    1 x Long spined urchin
1 x Short spined "porcupine quill looking" urchin.

and I think this may be the culprit. One Hermit Crab, recently added from my sump. The bugger's mate ate my octopus bubble coral clean up so I sumped him. He had no extra shells(bigger ones) in the sump so I put him back into the main display. He ditched his shell first thing but I have not seen him since. I thought he may have become Niger lunch.

Any way, Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Most larger carnivorous fish, crabs , lobsters etc might prey on them...Difficult to pinpoint a culprit
