    Ahoy,

Maybe those who have Dwarf Lionfish can post pics as we know there's many sub species. Warr, do you still have that fuzzy dwarf lionfish?

Here's some pics of my dwarf lionfish:

jaak look at how long the spines are of both lions, that is yours and tobes, the spines on tobe's one is much longer in comparison to how much is webbed where as yours is more the same length. i am pretty sure jacquesb's volitans will be the same as tobe's. i stick by my idea of tobe's being a volitans

I hear what you're saying scuba, but if I look at the colouration and the patterns then I think it's a dwarf/zebra lionfish. Let's see what the other guys say...

could be a mombassa in the pic(doesnt look like a zebra or brachypterus ..spelling?) due to the long spines...could also be antennata juvie although the antenna looks a bit short.

the problem with "dwarf" species is not only the array of subspecies but also coulour variation...my dwarf was almost blood red, ive also seen volitans in black...difficult to id (execept volitans) when they are young...havent seen tobe's

than again im not an expert:p
