Clever guys, I need your help- (whoever is not watching the Sharks getting their behinds kicked) I want to put videos I recorded from my phone (Nokia N8) onto a DVD (or some version compatible with most/all DVD Players).

Are there any standard ways to do it on a PC or do you need to download software to be able to do it.

And please, if I need to download software to do it- preferably free- Please supply the website.

Also, step by step please- I am technologically challenged

Preferably free, as my internet speed is still down, and anything working with banking, photos etc takes like forever. Using my phone as a modem as it is faster than my HSDPA

I think you're still on winXP, try the built in Windows Movie Maker, it recognises a fair amount of formats, download the movie from your Nokia onto your PC and see if the windows movie maker program will open it, if so then burn a disc and see what it looks like.

I'm on Windows 7 and I just use the built in DVD maker program that comes with windows, works perfectly for what I want, makes perfect dvd's.

Tried windows movie maker. Thing is. I do not know how to burn it to a disc, as media player, vlc player as well as real player only burns cd's

Ok, that sucks, Movie Maker doesn't burn dvd's. :(

Right, sync your phone with the Nokia software on your pc, you should have it installed, if not it will be on a cd that came with the phone, then check the location where the video clips are saved and remember that location.:p

Now download this, it's free and 13MB so not too big a file and use that to burn your files to dvd. DVD Flick p.s. Don't click on the 'download' link on the left because that is normally an advert for other software, click on the download link in the menu near the top of the screen. ;)
