Hi all, trying to do this verticle durso but not very succesful? This is where I am now? Whats wrong with this

Ok see it now, the t/piece must have an elbow on it facing down.

Ok so I gather that you do not have an overflow box. The problem with this is that is you put the elbow on in the tank 1. the level of the water will drop and 2. there will be no water skimming. I have the same set up. What size hole do you have drilled ?

Yip need a 90 degree bend facing down on the short horizontal pipe

I do have a overflow(C2C), the problem is there is no space for a elbow?

OK I see, rip out your Dremel, cut the horizontal part of the t shorter and do the same with the elbow, should give you some space to work with

I see what you saying, but the elbow can fit in the C2C ?

Vernon, do you have an overflow box, or just holes in the back pane draining straight to the sump?

If the latter then you can still do a Durso on the outside.

take a photo of the overflow and c2c, because as I understand your set up you are trying to put the elbow on the c2c, but the water level is not low enough, you have to have the elbow in the overflow box where the water level can cover the elbow part.
