Hi all you Durbanites - dont you guys wanna arrange a specimen collecting day this Saturday 30 May? (weather permitting of course) Then we can shows our pics on the forum like some of our fellow reefers (not mentioning some Aussie peoples names ;);))Low tide at 14:08 so most people knocked off from work by then;) and its month end so more :peroni:Checked 2 weather sites - 0% rain probability :thumbup:but going to be a chilly and cloudy in the morning Think about it and maybe just a social get together - dont know maybe bring and braai (don't know much about these things - I'll bring some cabbage leaves and carrots since vegetarian  )

Dont get me started about a veggie braai I assure you a corn, mushroom and braai soya sausages with the right spices would put some of the traditional braais to shame - You would swear you eating meat!

cool danimal - you can pm me your contact number or we can arrange if you coming for month end meeting - we'll try to make up a group on thursday night and keep in contact - I know stressed eric was also up for it the last time we spoke

No problem Mek but since I hold the same status as King Neptune if you get a break by Sunday just give us a buzz and we'll let you know where we are and "allow" you use my ocean as well;)

Well that's not me buddy - I'm usually very happy in the rock pools in Umhlanga but wanna try some snorkling and catching near vetchies this time one of the days - lets see what the rest of the guys say - where do you normally try?

i've done vetchies and north pier several times but that was back in the day before i had my own tank, was normally tagging along with mates who were collecting for themselves. recently ive done umhlanga and garvies on the bluff, went there this morning there is a really neat rock pool teeming with life. tide was on its way in though when i found that particualr pool so didn't stay too long. keen to get a net etc and try to actually catch some fish!

Well you got 2 weeks - try getting about 3 different size nets - really works well - Hows the the existing livestock in your tank - all parameters in check so far - nothing going haywire?
