Hi Guy's as some of you might know the Durban Reef Club is hosting the first IMACSA conference in Durban on the 18th and 19th of August 2007.
The conference is being held at the Oceanic Hotel situated on North Beach Durban.

The IMACSA commitee has been hard at work putting things into place and we are now looking to pick up the momentum.

We have almost finalised the Exhibitors for the conference and here is a prelimenary layout of the exbitors stalls.

The highlight of the weekend conference will be numerous talks and coral fragging workshops that will be given by Anthony Calfo and Steven Pro.

Other possible Guest speakers at the conference will be
Dennis King
Oceanographic Research Institute
Natal Sharks Board

The conference will start at 10.00am on Saturday 18th and finish at about 2pm on Sunday the 19th.
We will put up the times of the various talks that will be given in the next couple of weeks.

Urgent Announcement.

Guy's we urgently request that anyone that has registered for IMACSA and has not yet paid, to please do so URGENTLY.

We have reached the point where air tickets are being paid for as well as various other deposits and monies are needed.

A quick look through the IMACSA registrations this morning shows quite a lot of people that have booked and not yet paid.

Also for those that have been sitting on the fence waiting, we urge you to please start registering if you intend on coming. The organising committee needs to start finalising the numbers and start making tickets available to non MASA and SARK members.

Again please act on this ASAP, this event is now less than 2 months away.
