The one that stood out the most is not disturbing the sand bed? I know I'm guilty of doing this sometimes as I added some rock on it to house some critters. Then too feed my sun coral down there (he is a problem child, only opens up fully down there when feeding) as there is no flow issues (food doesn't fly around) when doing it.

The rest is minor. My dsb is about 30l volume in the sump.

Now the reason why I say that stood out is because I recently moved and yes things got messy in transit. I left my anemone in the tank with the substrate and just enough water to keep him submerged and he is still with me. When I connected everything up again the water took about 9hrs to look good enough to add all my fish and coral again.

That was the beginning of September and the fish are still around.

Now maybe there is some truth to it and maybe I was lucky enough not to unsettle the deeper section of the bed?
