I want to drill 3 holes in the side of my tl550 by the chamber. I'm assuming that this is acrylic

Does anyone have any advice about the drilling or tips warnings is acrylic safer to drill than glass

Try googling it, I know there is a web site that talks about all the modification or something.

Mine is plastic, I drilled about 20 - 30 holes into my 2nd chamber from the left hand side.

IS this for a sump to be attached? can you post a pic or direct me to where i can see one of the tank?

im assuming this is the inner chambers? in the filtration compartment and not on the structural cube of the tank?

yep i have a feeling it is a sticker over the glass, i worked with one ages ago and i just cant remember but i seem to think its glass..

I emailed boyu aquariums who confirmed that the front and back is glass.

    :offtopic:

If it is glass, then I can use a blade to scrape coralline algae of it?

Always thought it was acrylic as I have never seen glass bend like that.
