I bought one including a tool kit for R900. I suggest you try Makro in Springfield Park. They always have them on special.

I paid 700 for mine. It was with the case, flexishaft and a small accessory kit

Got myself an Einhell from Chamberlain's for R400 ( I think), with flexible shaft, hanger bracket, ginding kit and carry case. Do the same job, just a lot cheaper.

Tested it by cutting up an empty plactic Coke bottle. :)

about 500 at builders warehouse. 200 for the cable extension and you can get "kits" with various bits for fairly cheap. But other specialized bits can get very expensive. I was looking at getting a special wood cutting bit for bonsai but it was R549

Picked up a 300 this weekend for R500. Awesome tool!
Ash - i did'nt think of trying it on my bonsai. Thanks for the idea. I see you're a Coral Biologist - maybe try a bonsai Kenya tree. LOL.

My only regret is that i should have gone cordless.
