    Hi guys
A while ago I collected 2 marlei butterfly fish they were very small wen I caught them
But now they are big and healthy (bigger than a golfball size)
They are so tame they eat half a urchin out of my hands I have also watched them
Eating aptasia off of the rocks that I put in there tank(the infested ones from my reef tank)

So the question is will they eat my coral's and has anybody had success with getting them to eat pellets or frozen food? Mine only like urchins!

Also how do you distinguish between male and female? Mine are beft friends so thaught they might be a pare?

    Thanx wes

I had one caught locally but didn't last too long, couldn't get it to eat.

Ate Aptasia and fan worms but left the rest alone.

Put two of them in my tank about 3 weeks ago and were fine for about 2 days and then started nipping at my corals.

It's a gamble. Like with angels, some nip, some don't. Just remember they like colder water. As for feeding. Well done with the urchins, you can maybe try mussels as well. Just rice them very well or freeze them to make sure no disease come in. I had one that eventually ate everything. Who knows, maybe they will still try flakes etc.
