    He's about 3cm.. Eating well..

He's aggressive toward my other smaller damsels, so he needs to go..

    Any takers?

Lol or if you more civil give it to anyone with a large predator tank, where it cant bully anyone but it wont get eaten either as they quite fast and will use any rockwork as refuge.....perfect in those type of tanks.:)

Does a good job of cycling a new tank :) I know thats evil but so is this fish.. But really speaking he's never bothered any of my other fish except for the smaller damsels.. Im just afraid that he might get "under the skin" of my tang and cause him stress which will give him white spots again..

Thank goodness God made as small as they are, if a domino was a big a as a Great White we would all be in big trouble :p

Sorry to say but really crappy remarks , in the right setup they do actually well. Unfortunately it was probably sold & thus bought under the wrong pretences / assumptions.

I had one for ages living with my eel...best buds

BTW fish are not meant for cycling a tank

@crispin ..these types of threads get me ...once again a question of uninformed LFS selling to uninformed hobbyists .

@zak ...sorry bud , not trying to offend you , we have all made these mistakes (trus me I have made a few ) ...but whoever was the idiot telling you to use LS to cycle a tank should really think hard about what they are doing. For Interest sake...google ecological impact / importance of these guys, you will be amazed what they contribute.

Sadly we are conned / lured into buying stuff that appeals to the senses (visually in this instance as they are quite cool when small), this coupled with the fact that they are "Great Beginners Fish" just creates a market.

Without sounding like a tree hugger ( ;) ) once again leave the wallet at home when going to the shop , a decent LFS will keep for you for a day or two ( hell we all have EFT facilities)

@Dikdaan ..cool if you have the tank to keep it ...better than the toilet

Chill guys, a little light heartedness never hurt anyone..

I didn't cycle my tank with him, the lfs recommended him as he is hardy fish(apparently good "beginner fish").
