    I'm going to diy 4 tanks 600mm x 450mm x 450mm
I'm also going to use 5mm glass.
Do this size tank need any supported glass or will this be fine?
the water level is going to be at 400mm.

Howzit long time no hear. Yes I would only on the longitudinal. The rule is, use the same thickness the length would be 90% of the to total length[but I would do the entire length]and the width would be 5% of the that length.

Rather make it 3-5mm shorter than the internal dimension so as to have some silicon between the edges

    Hi

Just done a clac with a SF of 3 you should actually use 6mm for side and 8mm for the btm.R977.72 for all tanks, if so where is this place.

Hi Lanzo - IF you now going to put any sand or live rock in these tanks, AND the tanks are going into a decent sturdy frame/stand - then I would say that you would only need the bracing at the top of the tank (Euro bracing)...

Good luck with your venture. Keep us up to speed how it goes!

I'm still thinking on the sand in the tanks but I'm not going to put more than one piece of LR in one tank.
Going to get a separate container for LR
    thanks man
