I had a pair. Lost the male about a year ago due to power out. Had them for about three years. They were just like all other clowns.

OK, I had them in a softy tank with... A large vlamingi tang, cream angle, 10x blue damsels, 4blue yellowtail damsels, 1x zebra damsel, 2 coachman, 3 x Midas butterfly's and a few gobies.

Had no issues with this mix. However I would not recommend keeping one with timid reef fish like anthius and chromis etc.

    Took about two weeks ...

Get a small tank, like a one foot as it will be easier but you can do it in your main tank as well. Put one in the tank and the other in one of those perspex breeding cages. They need to see each other ...

Every three to four days you swap them around but put them together for a couple of minutes to see if they fight.

By the end of the second week you'll notice they don't fight ...

Not sure if that makes sense ...

You put them together every four days until they stop fighting ... They stick together from there on, one will change sex and the male will follow the female everywhere.

I had a nennie in, but took me months to get them hosting in there. Pairing them was easier ...
