Hey guys, been thinking about making a beast of a skimmer, modelled on Reeftek kind of thing. Gonna see if i cant make a real massive skimmer capable of doing things not thought humanly possible:) without the hefty price tag that is:) got an idea of how i'm gonna do it but if anybody has and good hints or ideas i'd love to hear it. Kind of gonna do this on a project kind of basis, doing lots of exams this semester so it may take me a while:)

Good luck Scuba Ninja - am interested to see how it comes out. Also look at the Reeftek hang-on skimmer for ideas; that way you can go with a square/rectangular design, just with bigger dimensions and still custom it to fit in your tank. Was considering doign on emyself. Let me know about perspex suppliers in Drubs if you find any.

Following progress, might need to go the DIY way myself.
Has Christo got a tread on DIY skimmers, if so let me know.
