    Hi,

    I just want to thank Animalia for the Protein RE-Skimmer they built for me. It is a DIY system built out of glass into the sump. Works like a bomb![IMG]

    If you look at what this skimmer costs me vs what the retail skimmers of that caliber go for...its a no brainer...

    Thank you very much for the vote of Confidence - hope your tank gives you now Years & Years of pleasure. Remember to come and get Zoa's in a week or two.

    it was a design of trial and error - yours was the cherry - busy putting it on auto cad after pics were taken- will post as soon as finished.

    it is a pretty labour intensive build as not all the units will be the same - the sumps are all different sizes and your pumps are different volumes - therfore you have to change the concepts with all the different variables.

    um like why??:p @Seabass

    We try and help mariners who does not have the time or the know how with issues they have on their tanks. Just remember what works on his tank might not work on yours - thats why we see what the requirements are first.

    I know Marsbrat - he is going to upgrade to a new and bigger tank in the near future and we are going to help him.

    I am not about to enter into any kind of debate on the rules of promoting products whether it be yours or a friends for financial gain, our sponsors pay for that privilege which in turn provides the funding that enables this site to survive.

    @Alan

    We were to post the plans for the re-skimmer when ready - so I do not see where this is commercial advertising as everyone could make it then -

    Remove this thread then please if you feel this is commercial posting.
