Diy led lights.

    HI Guys
    To all the Diy led guys on MASA.
    Please have a look at the attached doc.of the led lights and commend if any of them can be use for DIY lights. The highest avaliable is 12000k.

    I see various strips, can't read specifications that clearly. How many watts is each LED rated for, what type are they? 12000k is a pretty standard down the line colour, but remember you will probably like the higher kelvins as well (like 20000K, royal blues and blues) so that you can play around with how your corals look at various parts of the day (evening, sunrise).

    I would not persue these led's.
    IMO, they are massivly underpowered.


    These kind of led's are best suited for mood lighting or undercounter lighting.
