I want to firstly say Thank you to Chris from Northlands pets for all his help with this.... that said this took a 4 days in all with the help of Durban Plastics and Chris's stock of plans ballasts and wiring expertise....

I needed more lights in the tank for my nemmie and after i spoke to Jacquesb i deceided to go for it ....

what my tank looked like before

and after I did the installation
    [IMG]

I Basically redid the hood so that i wouldnt damage the original one so when it came time to sell it would be stock standard
    [IMG]

    then
    [IMG]

and for the ballast I made hang on box to match
    [IMG]

then i used the off cuts to make some brace mounts for the tubes to sit on
    [IMG]

and because the black is a gloss black the reflection is phenominal almost mirror like
    [IMG]

So thats it am runnin 1 x ATI super blue now 1 X AM white both 39w and 2 x 35w Juwel T5 in a White blue white blue config ......

Anybody using a Juwel tank can PM me for anymore details....+- whole hood cost under R300 excluding tubes and ballast

 Thanks to all for the advice
