DIY CaRX Type thingy

Hey Guys

I have this Nitrate reducing sulpur reactor-dont-know-how-much -good-its-doing-thingy

My question is, could I remove the Suplur in chamber 1, replace with hydrocarbonate, add a bubble counter, run C02 into it and use it as a CarX?

Yip - sure you could with a bit of diy. Is there a recirculation system on it at present?

Then a fair bit of DIY will be required - the recirculation system basically takes the acidic water that is created with the injection of co2 and recycles it through the carbonate material. Without this the ph in the reactor would just not be low enough and excess co2 will be released that will end up in your tank.
