    Hey guys,

My one clown fish has what looks like a bacterial infection on its mouth and face.

Its getting really thin although its still eating fine.

What is it and what can I do to cure it ?

    That looks like lymphocystis
Best/only thing to do it make sure its stress free and eats vitamin rish foods. It should go away on its own.

    that is lymphocystis

My two Clown Fish had it when I got them some time back took around two months for it to go away, nothing you can do about it, just make sure you do your water changes and make sure you water parameters are correct.

They get lymphocystis from stress but it only starts to show after some time, the lymphocystis will just drop off when the Clown is back to normal.

Hope your Clowns get well soon

Glad I could help, I searched the internet from side to side and every website I could find, but each had the same to say. Don't be worried if there is a open wound when the lymphocystis drops off the Clown, its just from where the lymphocystis grow out
