Im having a issue with Dinos.....
Has anyone successfully battled them? If you did...
How did you manage?
Ive been sitting with it now for a month or two.
Pesky things are attacking all my sps.
I kind of lost the battle. But maybe someone has some trick up their sleeve

Im not sure how i got it.
But i suspect i neglected the tank a bit. And either nitrates went to zero. Or phos crept up. Not really sure.
I just cant get rid of the stuff.

I had Dinos for 4 months in the past. The way I won the battle was very weird. I increased my No3 and Po4 and then read that dosing phytoplankton and pods can assist. I dosed way too much phytoplankton to the point where my water was green for 2 weeks. I couldn't see any Corals and after doing a 50% water change, the water started to clear up, thankfully I didn't lose any corals/fish. There was no sign of any Dinos or Cyanobacteria. GHA started growing because of the high nutrients but never again had Dinos from that day. GHA is way easier to deal with IMO.

Using a UV sterilizer could assist as well but just depends on the strain of Dinos you have.
