Dino.....How did you beat it?

So i see that ive begun a bit of a dyno outbreak.

my question is to those that have had it before and how you managed to beat it.

Following... I’m currently in the same boat.

From what I’ve read it can usually show itself when nutrients stay at 0 for a while. This was the case for me.

Apparently running ph as high as 8.4 for extended time can work, but difficult to achieve.
Uv or ozone is also an option, have not tried these.

Blackout for 3 days is just a temporary relief.

So far, I’ve managed to control it by manual removal, as it starts to cake up on the glass. I have also been feeding heavier to bring nutrients up and dosing a bacteria supplement to try and outcompete the Dinos. Also starting up a refugium to try and maintain bacterial balance.

I’m also seeking further help.

Thanks, il try dosing additional bacteria aswell. right now ive been running my fuge opposite my display light schedule. Out of curiosity, what would dosing additional bacteria do in terms of dino ?
