Hi all,
So I decided to finally make a thread for my tank. I've been toying with an upgrade for a while now so was waiting for that before starting my own thread but I've decided I'm going to stick with this system for a while and only upgrade once the fish have no space to swim because the corals have taken over
It's also a really nice way to track your own progress to see how far you have come (or gone backwards)
My system setup is as follows
Tank: Reef Octopus lux 90 approx 220l
Skimmer: Reef Octopus diablo xs160
Flow: Maxspect Gyre
Vortech mp10
Hydor koralia
Lighting: 2 x Radions xf30's (gen 3 pro and a gen 2 with Tir)
Filtration: Skimmer
Filter sock
DSB(that I'm thinking of removing)
Chaeto
And some Pond matrix
Also have a Jebao Dp4 doser for Cal, alk and mag.
Anyway here are some pics, starting from August 2016 till now.
I did have a mini crash just over a month back so things are just starting to look back to normal.
Cheers
Just after the crash
Today
Any hints, tips, advice are always welcome. Ps. I'm a self admitted blue light addict
