Hi Guys just wanted to post some pics from the start of this tank, i got this tank from Landu yesterday. I managed to move 200lts of water with it and topped up with NSW.

    The tank is

"Sun Sun" bent glass system (250L)
    Built in lights 2 x white 39W 1 x Actinic 39W
    Sump with 4 compartments (50L)
2 x Sun Sun flow pumps
    WIEPRO Skimmer (190-1140lts)with pump
    Roughly 15kg's Live rock
20 kg's aragonite and crushed coral mix
    1 x Sailfin tang (12 cm)
    1 x Clown Surgeon (14cm)
    2 x flag tails (4cms)

Looked forward to the adding of the rock and some small Zoa Frags.

Fish traveled well and look happy.

Have loads of space for some more LR

I while back there was a thread with a pillar in the water fully encrusted, what do you think can one do it with an over flow pipe? Started with 3 small zoa frags

Awesome bro.. That pillar will look great once encrusted. Perhaps consider stacking some rock against it as even if its fully encrusted, its still going to look like a pipe..

That clown tang is sweet but they are crazy agro and will attack new additions.. So you would have to sump him when you add new fish. He should be the last fish you add to the system.

what fish are flag tails? I haven't come across them before

    This is my flag tail
The clown and Sail came with the tank so they will be the boss there off, i do not intend adding many more fish so Mr Clown can be the boss, he did nothing to the flags they are smaller than the one in the pic and the tails are dark, i did add a hermit.
I agree on the "looking like a pipe" issue so i will look for some flat LR and drill a 50mm hole in it and pass it over the pipe will just need to center it so it does not put weight on the pipe and rip it out lol

That looks like the barred flagtail. Kuhlia mugil.
Have seen them at in the rock pools at St Lucia.

the tail of the flagtail is not in good condition at the moment - it will look a lot better once fih's conditions improve.

You can use green or black shade-net to make a sleeve to pull over the pipe - it will look a lot less intrusive and not reflect as much light.
