I personally dont bother testing for nitrates religiously. Once a month is OK. I used to be obsessed with nitrates before but a good DSB, live rock and probiotics will keep it in check

Works fine for PH, but I would not trust it for salinity, it bounces all over the place.
true...i actually would want digital calcium,alkalinity and maybe magnesium as getting the consumption on these is more time consuming and it needs more work than simple things like nitrate and phosphate.
Any one know of calcuim alkalinity or magnesuim digital tests which are reliable? oh and dont cost couple grand....
