zeolite has many uses not only for removing radioactivity the whole neo zeo method of reef keeping is based on it, in the correctly used filtration it can result in ultra low nutrient systems

    agreed :)
There are over 100 types of natural zeolite and more than 40 synthetically produced , the ones for ULNS purpose is a specific type that is synthetically manufactured. Not all zeo has this capability.
For the treatment of such large volumes of water they would use the cheaper and more abundant natural type :)
There is a huge abundance of this zeo in japan, formed from volcanic activity.

I dont have a nuclear radiation problem, perhaps i can mix it with cement and cast my driveway slab :)
so just incase i glow in the dark from radiation contamination then i can lay on the slab and light up the neighbourhood, free, mahala, my contribution to saving electricity and reducing my carbon footprint.

On a serious note, im glad the japs have found some way of dealing with the consequences of this natural disaster, and limit the effects as best they can.
