    Hi Guys,

I'm seriously concerned and would just like your professional opinion of this tank design can it withhold the water volume????

This is a rimless tank with 10mm glass, dimensions 90X60X40 cm's.

Will this hold the water volume without braces etc? Just started filling this weekend and had a major scare, now i'm a bit cautious ????

see my thread of tank pics:

    Please help I'm worried ???

With 10mm glass, definately if it's well made. Bear in mind that you dont fill it to the rim and your LR and gravel will diplace more water.

guys build fat 4ft tanks with 10mm glass and that works. Heck Ive even seen 6ft tanks with 10mm so it should be fine for your tank :)

my tank 1200Lx600Wx600H has absolutely no bracing and is made with 10mm glass... It has a 3mm bow in when full.... I stressed at first, but then I thought about the fact that it was used like that for years before I got it.
