if you can, test your new water as well before doing the WC and lets compare that to the results after

No3 between 0 - 0.03 last 2 brackets of the Salifret Kits
Po4 between 0 - 0.03 last 2 brackets

So WC water is ruled out. Maybe still part of cycle.

are those the values of your new sea water?

so based on the test results, we are adding NO3 and PO4 to the tank... is your RO giving you 0TDS?
maybe test the NO3 and PO4 of your tap water, or are you buying salt mix?

Is your diatom issue resolved?

I had exactly the same problem a few weeks back - cleaned my glass and within an hour there were brown diatoms on the glass again - at the end of the day it was so brown you could hardly see through the glass.

I ran an FE-Oxide based phos (GFO) remover and within a few days the problem cleared up. Silicates are diatom food and GFO's remove silicates as well as phosphates.
