Why don't you paint the bottom outside?

black perspex is your best bet.. no paint can adhere to glass 100% because of its smooth finish. especially internally, it will inevitably peel off if lighly chipped during cleaning of the tank.. i have heard but not seen of some guys making a aragonite/posrtlandclay mix to make a substrate bottom that doesnt absorb dirt or blow around..

it will require scrubbing from algae on occasion.

rather put a big piece of black ABS sheet under the tank.
Cheap and a lot faster to do than watching paint dry.

Would you not get the mirror effect on the bottom glass if it is painted black on the outside? Or even abs placed underneath it?

On my frag systems you can't see the poly underneath as it has that mirror effect. Only time you can see the white poly is from the top down view.

Guessing this is why you are asking for INSIDE suggestions Carlos?

Can find out what we use at the TOA for our touchpool. It really stinks when you apply it but works
