Gaz can i ask a question here. Why do you need a denitrifier, dont you run a DSb or Refugium?

i dont run a dsb. from experince denitrfiors will give you zero nitrates(if not close to 0) and you will never have to worry about overfeeding.

Hi gaz19

What sort of water changes are you doing and are you using synthetic or natural sea water?

are these really nececary for our new age reefs?

i do a 50l waterchange a week. i think these are needed if you want to stock your tank healiy

Got my tank heavily stocked and well fed and dont run a denitrifier, just a DSB with a refugium.

i feel the denitrifiers are old school suited for the undergravel filter tank

i really dont care what you think;)
they can aslo be used for carbon/phosphate reactors
