Urgent help needed Dead tank

    A sombre morning to all, woke up to a "dead tank" any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    All was good last night until a fire shrimp was struggling to move, this morning all livestock gone including 2 clowns, short spine urchin, fire shrimp, softie x2.

    Still remaining is 2 turbo snails and a large softie.

    Water parameters
    Ph 8
    Kh 8
    SG 1.0215
    Nitrite 0
    Nitrate 2
    Ammonia 0.2 ( confirmed this morning again)

    Temp is now 26.1 from 26.9 last night

    Tank 130l Boyu to 550, 2 months old, cycled for 6 weeks.
    No3 reducer (rsm) been used for a week

    Any other info required let me know.

    this is not good! did u perhaps have a power failure? no flow in the tank means no oxygen in the water..

    Nope and got a ups anyway, checked this morning and flow was on

    Sorry to hear boet... Sg is low but that wouldn't be the cause...

    (No3 reducer (rsm) been used for a week) Have you been following the directions to the tee?

    Your tank is still young so the parameters will be fluctuating but strange to hear the LS ok then just pegging off...

    Do you perhaps know if anyone sprayed any poisons like doom or something like that? The fumes can be taken up by the skimmers air intake & be harmful to your LS... Something to think about...

    Water a lot murkier than last night is my only observation that's changed

    Maybe add some activated charcoal in a stocking to clean up the water. A cup full should be ok but maybe boil the charcoal first to open the pores & clean it then add it to the tank in the stocking...

    Temp at 26.9 is a bit high. Have you checked against another thermometer?
