    Take a reading after WC as well just to check ur salinity. Ur top off water would need to b a specific gravity to get ur tank water to desired level.

    Don't raise salinity by more than 0.001 per day, so 6 days to get to 1.026. Big changes that happens quickly in salinity is very stressful for livestock. Best will probably be just to top up evaporated water with saltwater until salinity is right again.

    Do you mean to ask if that specific refractometer will work? It should be fine, looks like the ones we use, as long as the markings inside show you sg.

    Specific Gravity, i.e. it has to show you 1.026 for example.
