i got up this Morning and found my juvenile emperor angelfish lying on its side not moving,
the rest of the fish are all OK, eating and moving around as normal.
i tested the water and all is OK.

this is my second Angel Fish i lost in 4 months,

Have you done any water changes or any other big changes to parameters or conditions of the water and this would include temperature

Did you do a water change yesterday or last night? Was your salinity very high that you do a water change with RO only? How big water change do you do at a time? 10%, 30% ?

If you take out 25% of salt water from your tank you have to replace it with salt water which matches the parameters of the water you are removing. By adding only RO water you create a swing in parameters like reducing salinity, lower alkalinity etc. You would only use RO wc to reduce salinity or daily top ups of water that have evaporated.

The change in pH will definately kill fish

What is your salinity currently? If you are doing water changes with RO only, your salinity might be quite low.

That is quite low, but should not kill fish at that level. Unless your kH/pH is also very low due to low salinity. And swings in salinity is stressful to fish, and can cause a mini cycle. You might struggle with corals at that salinity though.
