As Dallas said, Builders warehouse got a plastic DB box, earth leakage, plus trip switches for under R800. Might even get it cheaper at Voltex, or dedicated electrical outlet like Jade Lee Electrical in Midrand.

WOW! That's awesome! I am REALLY IMPRESSED! Did you do this yourself? Or did you get someone to do it for you?

That is so neat, must have cost you a couple of beers paying your neighbour.
question, unit on left, is that a timer? if so, how many lines out? (looks like 4).

yes they are on / off timers.....2 channels per unit.....
    so i have 4 channels.
    1 for 2 x actinic t5
    1 for 2 x white t5
    1 for 150 w mh
    1 for led moon light
the timers were a bit expensive.....around R650 ea
the box was about R300 and the breakers wre about R30 to R40 ea.....if my memory serves me correctly

    labour.....well yes, a few beers and a bottle jack:thumbup:

there are 20 breakers cause thats how many electrical items the tank has to run it........1 breaker per item, ie skimmer, heater, 4 are taken up for the lights, auto top up, return pump, internal pumps, chiller, controllers etc etc

i also run the profilux computor for temperature control between running the fan speed and shutting down when temp is high and switching on the chiller
