    Hi All,

I have been running my first marine tank for close on a year now and decided that it is finnaly ready (up to standard) to share.

    I bought a 1.5 m long x 500 wide x 600 deep H20 tank, with a 1.2 m sump

I pretty much dumped everything besides for the glass.

    TANK AND SETUP

The tank is sitting on a custom made stainless steel stand.

    I am running 4 x 54 w T5's (2 blue and 2 white) and 2 x 150 w MH the MH come on from 12 h 00 to 16 h 00. i have fitted the lighting into a custom made stainless steel frame.

I am currently running 2 x sunsun pumps for current, 1 x 6000 litre and 1 x 12000 litre, i am currently looking at upgrading.

In the sump i have the normal, a skimmer, 2 in one reactor with a 25 w uv sterilizer, 1 x 300 w heater and a chiller connected to a STC 1000 controller.

I have about 80 kg of liverock in the system.

    LIVESTOCk

I got off to a really rough start and lost a lot of livestock when starting up but have started up a QT and thing seems to be coming right,

    i currently have the following,
    2 x clowns
    1 x yellow tang
    1 x sailfin tang
    1 x jaw fish
    1 x local caught wrasse

    2 x fire shrimp
    1 x blue lobster
    2 x cleaner shrimp
    1 x bandit shrimp

    2 x hermits
    3 x snails

    In hospital i have,
    2 x goldies
    2 x purple fire fish

    CORALS

    Currently have,
    Tourch
    Frogspawn
    Green Monti
    Large finger leather
    Kenya tree
A number of orange and purple mushrooms
    Pin cushion
    Green Palythoa
    Green Pagoda
    Xena

Im sure that i have missed out a couple of things but will update as i go.

Will upload some photo's just now, just charging the cameras battery.

I am looking forward to your comments and advise. Im learning everyday.

    CHEERS :peroni:

That finger leather is looking the best I have ever seen it. Hope its not too large:p

Looks like the yellow guy and sailfin have settled in nicely. I miss those guys but so glad they looking happy and are in a good home.

Thanks, they are doing very well. They did not like the hospital tank so did a dip and placed them in the main dt. Took my chances seen as they came from an established tank. Was a bit concerned, when putting them in the tank my scopas tang went ballistic on them. Removed the scopas but put them under heavy stress for a good 20 mins. But all seems good. The finger is growing by the day. Will have to look at fragging soon.

Thanks Jason, I don't think that the photos have done it justice. need to play with the settings on the camera.
The reef lobster is blue, never had an issue with him. I feed him a lot though drop chunks of prawn into his little cave at least 3 times a week.

Thanks to Jungle Aquatics, ordered 2 x Jebao WP40 on Tuesday, delivered by lunch time today.
I installed them and i am very impressed. They pack a big punch, almost didn't even open the second pump, one pump was plenty but decided to install it and alternate pumps on timers to change currents.

Will post pictures when I get a chance.
